Do Three Things Each Week To Generate Buzz
By K Haria You know it, I know it - it’s all about planning and execution - the ability to create a solid plan in your mind and/or on paper that says what you will do at each step so you have a framework of how far you want your product or service to go before you execute the plan. So I’m going to keep this article short and sweet. I want you to take action. Inaction kills. Procrastination wipes away dreams. Don’t let that happen to you. So right now, commit to setting three goals to get your buzz marketing (near enough free marketing) going each and every week. What are three things you’ll do on a weekly basis to get the word out about your product or service? Here are a few suggestions… * Contact someone you haven’t spoken to in over three months and tell them what you’re up to and how you can help them or they can help you. (Don’t you think they’re very likely going to tell someone else — your word is passing around…) * Write a press release for a newspaper, magazine, journal or online website. Write from a special angle for that particular week. The more you do this, the more you’ll improve, the more “in-their-face” you’ll be and so your chances of some PR increases. * Write an article at least once a week and post it to free article directories such as Goarticles.com and Ezinearticles.com. Include your resource box and allow your articles to roam freely around the world. * Ask for three referrals each week. Ask your clients, friends, family members, supporters and anyone to give you a referral to someone who they feel should be connected with you. Then make that connection. * You make a referral. Refer someone you know to someone else. Not only does this create excitement in the other person, but they’ll remember you for making a key referral and when they’re in the right situation, they’re more likely to “buzz” about you! * Email a growing or popular blogger and send him/her something worthy. More likely than not, if it’s content that adds value, the blogger will include it in their blog and link back to you. * Each week, strive to give customer service that goes beyond any level you’ve ever reached before. Buzz Marketing your product or service is about taking small steps on a consistent basis. Doing this for just one week won’t make a huge difference, doing this every week for several weeks increases your chances for many exponentially growing sales.
